We are Kefi Theatre Company - a new theatre company created by young professionals!
Co-Artistic Director:
George Rowlands
Since graduating from Rose Bruford, George has worked on productions such as 'As You Like It' and 'Macbeth' (Bromley Churchill Studio), and starring as 'the Boy' in the two man show 'The Boy With the Bee Jar' at the Hope Theatre. The latter earnt him an Offie Nomination and a 'Standing Ovation Nom' from London Pub theatres.

For the past year, George has been travelling the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland after being cast as 'Eric' in Stephen Daldry's National Theatre revival tour of 'An Inspector Calls'. Most recently he can be seen in PainterStudios' 'Operation: Dynamo', a short film set during the evactuation of Dunkirk.
​
He is thrilled to be a part of Kefi Theatre, being passionate about a company that shifts agency from the hands of the industry, back into the heart and craft of the actor.

Aimee Walker-Reid
This is Aimee: extensive traveller, un-official Greek, eco warrior, and Kefi Theatre's co-artistic director.

Aimee trained as an actor with the National Youth Theatre and then at Rose Bruford College. She is an avid director, having recently worked on 'Pinocchio' in Noblistow, Poland and 'Remember - a Holocaust Story' for the prestigious St Edmunds School in Canturbury. As a writer and theatre maker, she is passionate about giving unheard human stories a voice - something she is excited to be able to explore with this new company with two of her favourite humans.

She has most recently completed writing 'Kindred', Kefi Theatre's first professional production, in which she will be starring as Lois. It premieres at the Jack Studio Theatre in January 2024.
Creative Associate:
Morgan Burgess
Morgan graduated in 2021 from the Actor-Musician programme at Rose Bruford. Since then he has been continuing to hone his craft in both acting and music, and how he can marry the two in his creative endevours.

Morgan starred in Kellerman's Band in the west end run of 'Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on the Stage' at the Dominion Theatre in 2022, and has continued to do so across 2023 as it tours across the Uk and Ireland. He will be performing with the cast in a special performance at the Folies Bergére in Paris this December!

Morgan is passionate about our ethos of human storytelling, particularly by human behaviour and how each of us has the capacity for extraordinary things within us. He is proud to be a part of this company, and excited to get to work on the projects we have on our horizon.

Why 'Kefi'?
'Kefi' is a Greek word that loosely translated as, 'the spirit of joy, passion and enthusiasm for life being expressed with an abundance of excitement and fun.'
​
Often Greeks express that someone has "lost their Kefi!" - meaning that they have lost this passion for life.
This struck a chord with us. How often do actors struggle to 'keep their kefi' when work enters a lull phase. We want to be a company that can help you regain your passion and joy for your craft in those times.
